  The customer service is absolutely terrible at this location. We had originally tried to book a vehicle using our "4 free days" that we have accumulated because of our loyalty to National with the amount of cars rented annually and were told there were no cars available. We called back later not revealing our 4 free days and suddenly there were cars available....

  I made a reservation online. Then the morning of the rental I got an email to say they didn't have a car. I called and they had a full size car but didn't want to rent it to me - trying to get more money on a longer rental. I called Budget and they were able to help last minute. The guy at Budget is really nice and super helpful.

  The gentleman we dealt with was ignorant. I will NEVER rent a car from this location ever again!

  Service was fine. Very disappointed to be charged an extra $40 at check out. $5 per day for a TDM fee?? Best explanation I got was it was in case I hit a pole and I decided to sue them. I declined insurance at the time of pick up. Never explained this would be charge. Would not go with National again due to this. Waiting to hear back from customer service as I called their Head Office in the U.S.

  Very poor customer service, we had Booked a vehicle for January 10 a day before, and the gentleman who we deal with him called us that the car has been given to somebody else, my husband got very disappointed because he informed us too late

  The clerk (owner) charged insurance despite specifically being told not to. He completed the transaction prior to showing me the bill and then said he couldn't refund the insurance fee. Clearly a tactic to earn unwarranted sales. Do not trust this National Car franchise!!! Waiting for resolution from head office.

  we called National head booking and rented through them at the location and our reservation was confirmed. The employee at the Guelph location then called us and said he would not be honouring our confirmed reservation.
