  On the Thursday traffic was terrible coming out of the city. There was no way that I was going to get there before 6PM. I called at about 530PM and advised the young female that answered that I was on my way and that I would not get there before 6 but would definitely arrive before 7PM.

  The Manager did not even come down to the office to advise me of the extra charge himself. He called the young girl on the phone and had her tell me. Perhaps he was afraid I might question it!

  I called and spoke to the manager about my expected arrival time on Thursday. Since I was driving from downtown Toronto I was concerned that the traffic might not allow me to get to Pinetree before 6PM which is the listed end time for picking up dogs. The manager told me that if I called before 6 to indicate that I was on my way and if I arrived before 7PM then I would be allowed to pick the dogs up. If I was delayed past 7PM there would be an extra night required. I had no issue with this arrangement. Nothing was said about any extra charges for the late pickup.

  I've been a few minutes late to pick-up on occasion and have never had any issues with them demanding more money. In my experience, as long as your reasonable with them, they'll be more than fair with you.

  This is the absolute BEST place anyone could leave their beloved pet!! Carlos and his team are TOP NOTCH!! They are kind, educated, and have a genuine LOVE for animals. We enjoy our time away from home even more knowing our pets are safe and being cared for by the amazing people at PINETREE!!

  I arrived at 650PM and was told that there would be an extra charge of $25.00 for the late pickup!! This was the first that I had been told of this. Had I been advised earlier perhaps I could have arranged with a neighbour to pick the dogs up for me.

  I had a meeting that I had to attend overnight in Toronto. My wife was also out of town at the same time. I called to book my two dogs into Pinetree for one night. They were dropped off on Wednesday morning and I was to pick them up Thursday night.
